你住不起，就走啦！

刚看完Yasmin Ahmad的Chocolate，有点丈八金刚的感觉。



后来看了人家的Post，终于明白Yasmin要表达的意思了。

1）华裔青少年被妈妈强迫出国留学，因为他在大马无法进入高等学府。他妈妈一直说大马这个地方只是把好处留给那种人，这代表华人对政府不公平对待的普遍看法：你无法在这里生存，唯有选择离开（你住不起，就走啦！）。

2）华裔青年其实对马来少女有好感的，可是当母亲唠叨他不要和马来人那么友善，突然触动他对种族问题的不公平对待，所以他选择小小的报复，就像“你住不起，就走啦！”，他突然喊道：“你买不起，就走啦！”

1) chinese boy go oversea because he cant get scholarship in malaysia, thats why his monther say this place is for their kind of people this shows our government attitude: u cant afford to live here, then tak payah tinggal di sini la!

2) the chinese boy actually likes the malay girl, but when his mother shouted at him, kinda reminded him about how unfair the malays are treating the chinese, thats why he just try to revenge, in a very small way, similiar to how the malays treating the chinese: u cant afford to buy the chocolate, tak payah beli la!
